Job Ad – Laborer / Fence Installer

Ashtabula Fence Co., LLC is seeking a dependable Laborer to join our fence installation crew. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys hands-on, outdoor work and takes pride in contributing to quality construction projects. No prior experience is required; we are willing to train the right candidate.

Ashtabula Fence Co. is a locally owned and operated fence contractor installing residential and commercial fencing and railing throughout Ashtabula County and surrounding counties. We focus on quality installation, job-site professionalism, and reliable service for homeowners, businesses, and contractors. We are committed to professionalism, safety, and treating customers and their property with respect.

Work Hours: Mon- Fri 8am – 4 pm
*Must be available to work overtime and Saturdays when needed

Responsibilities:
• Load and unload fencing materials and equipment from trucks
• Assist with installation of fencing, railings, and related products
• Operate hand tools and power tools (training provided)
• Operate equipment such as forklifts and power augers (training provided)
• Maintain clean and safe job sites and yard areas
• Work as part of a crew to complete daily tasks efficiently
• Follow all company safety policies and procedures
• Occasionally assist with traffic control at job sites

Requirements:
• Valid Driver’s license
• Ability to lift 60-80 pounds regularly
• Willingness to work outdoors in all weather conditions
• Ability to travel to job sites using company-provided transportation
• Reliable attendance and strong work ethic
• Professional, respectful communication with customers, coworkers, and the public
• Positive attitude and willingness to work as part of a team
• Ability to represent the Company professionally on job sites and at customer properties
• Willingness to complete required company training
